when i started sax my friend told me i should play on plastic-covered reeds bc they give u a fuller and "crunchier" sound. wat do u guys think, fact or myth? should i continue on em, or start switching to regular ones? wat r some pros and cons of each? thanks guys, i appreciate any info

well it actually depends on where your playing rather then playing style or tonation....if your out side of course go to plastic thats why they were made =) but if your playing inside stick with regular ones because plastic ones don't mix as well with the cane reeds in intonation anyways.....but yeah depends on the inviroment =)
