I know theres already a thread for this tour, but this is meant to be a bit more specific than "I'm going to it"... 1. (Hi-Hi you're gonna love this) This is what I read about a youtube video of the SECOND part of "would you be impressed": " ran across this video and i thought I'd shed some light on the subject, this is 1/3-1/2 of the song, the link below (from slipknot) is the other 1/2, they have yet to play the full song at any of their live shows, also, all the new songs they play at live concerts such as this, are just teasers, songs are not getting shorter, Thomas just isn't revealing all of them yet. Hope that helps you guys, SM is the shit" 2. Anyone whos seen the show please give us an idea to what the sets are like, for any bands, but Streetlight in particular. Thanks!

| I'd like to add a little to TrombonistDan's question as to what the sets are like - does any one know if Streetlight ever play songs from Keasbey, aside from Keasbey its self in their point/keasbey/point medley? | ||

Wasnt sure to post this and felt here was relevant.....Is there any news on whether SM will be releasing the new album? On the 'Ska is Dead' compilation CD there is a live SM track (A better place, a better time), and since all the other songs are off the other bands full albums, would this not suggest that SM might have a live album in the pipeline. I think that made sense

Yeah, that makes sense ollie. And actually, it would make a LOT of sense for Streetlight to put out a live release. Their new album is looong overdue, and since they take so long with their new albums, why not just record a show they're playing, have it mixed and released that? Its probably the easiest way they could possibly release an album. However, I doubt they'll release a live album for a while. Don't know why, it just doesn't seem like something they'd do anytime soon. |

I know that Streetlight have played "Day in Day Out" at concerts before, and I saw a youtube of them playing "Dear Sergio," but those are the only ones I know of (plus KN of course.) And I read somewhere that a live album is in the works...not sure where, but maybe on wikipedia, whihc isn't a good source really. But I also read that the new album is fully recorded, and that it is now being mixed. And I heard in an interview of TK that when making EGN Streetlight did all of the recording on their own and let Victory take care of mixing and releasing, so hopefully thats being done and the album will be out soon. $20 says its a self-titled album. And its not a big deal, invertedtiwsted, but I'm TrombonistDon, not -Dan. I haven't seen a post from him in a looooooooooooong time.

Weird thing is that I knew full well its Don and no Dan, but somehow I managed to type Dan. Sorry ![]() I wonder how soon we can expect a release date from Streetlight then, if it indeed is now being mixed. The thing is that with the number of times Streetlight have missed deadlines, if they put a message on their site saying "The album will be out on...", people would probably just ignore it. Not me though, every little rumor I hear about it gets me all excited. |

Haha, same here. I would hate them for being so slow if I didn't love their music so much. then again, if I didn't love their music so much I really wouldn't care how slow they were. Anyway, I'm hoping that They'll tell us what the real release date is when they come here with the Shout it Loud tour...if the album isn't out by then. |

| I read an interview with Tomas (from like a year and a half ago) and he said that they (streetlight) records every one of their live shows, for a possible live album. The interviews the one when he was talking about rereleasing keasbey nights and stuff. I think the links on wikipedia... but i dunno | ||

GUESS WHO'S COMING TO AUSTRALIA!!! If you said Hu Jintao, you would be wrong. He just left. If you screamed in a high pitched frenzy girl voice "STREETLIGHT MANIFESTO!!?" you would be correct! Also LTJ and RBF. I am there and a half. Hell you know what, I'm there twice. High fives everyone. C'mon, put em up. |
