(Any dolt who speaks in chatspeak to me will be officially smacked)

Yeah, why did this site not let me make a username a few hours ago? It said something like "Please come back later" Why was that? If a manager/mediator was updating, why doesn't the message say that?

Why can my computer not covert tabs to sheet music, I absolutely hate transposing freaking trumpet tabbs, they're in dire need of evolution or a chemical spill to make them SUPER TRUMPET TABS!!!
Right now the tabbing system on this site is immature, is it possible to post my tabbs via a matured system?

And why is there a section for saxaphones? I have NEVER heard a saxaphone be called a horn...I understand breaking sectional walls but...no, This is just a silly question, don't answer!!!

How do you post articles? I want to do a few shorts for beginner trumpets.

It would be real nice if you could privatley message a user or have a comment page on your userpage

Tofu here, push, push, pushing buttons!!!

What are you talking about? Why do you need to transpose trumpet tabs? What do you mean immature? Please be more specific before you barge in here and criticise the system.

Yes, the saxophone is a horn.

I think articles need to be approved by Sander, our webmaster, but I'm sure he can tell you more about that.

The forum on here is great, but Horntabs.net is mostly about the tabs, it's not a forum site so forum features are not really a priority. But again, I'll hand that one to Sander.

All that aside, welcome!

I wanted to make an article a while back too, Sander told me to just make a post and let him know that you want it to be an article, and if he agrees, then he'll go through with it. Worked for me.

P.S. Saxophone has been called a horn at least since the uprise of Funk, although technically the term "horn" originally was just short for French horn (not even english horn), unless you're in concert band or orchestra, "horn" quickly expanded to any brass instrument, and even to saxohphone. Many modern jazz bands even call saxophones horns, and the term is used more frequently in funk, and especially ska. Some people use "horn" for any wind instrument, (e.g. clarinet and flute), I think that's a bit of a stretch, at least the sax is made of brass, even if it has a reed, but to each his own. (I know you said don't answer, but I thought I'd clear that up for anyone else that reads this, and Faulk already countered, so I thought I'd back him up)

Is there someone that knows of a site that has trumpet tabs for christian praise and worship songs? I would like to play along with the guitars. They have alot of access to tabbed music on different sites. Is there a way to transpose there tabs for a trumpet?

Thanks

I would try posting praise and worship songs in the tab request section, if there are any specifics, maybe people will know them, or you could attach a link to the song you want being played on the internet (it's got to be out there somewhere). Either way, I would post it in tab requests and see what happens, possibly with some specific songs, because God knows how many praise and worship songs there are out there (forgive the horrible pun )
