| According to their article on wikipedia, they're getting back together and Jerry Mattis, the guy who created the bulldog logo is making another one for them right now. I'm gonna look into it more.. this is amazing!!! | ||

AWESOME!!!!! Heh, had to go one better. On the subject, I've heard the Bosstones described as skacore. Now I've heard Let's Face It (the album) and assorted other songs...but from that I wouldn't class them as skacore. Can you guys shed any light on this arguement? And if so, what album/s hold evidence? |

Definitely NOT Let's Face It. Let's Face It really wasn't like any Bosstones album before that. For the whole ska core sound, you need to go back to the albums "Devil's Night Out",and "More Noise and Other Disturbances". Don't know how to party was pretty metal, and question the answers was just kinda weird... and I really didn't like it too much. But yeah, those first two albums are amazing, and you definitely should check them out. |

Alright, I'll add them to my list. Trouble is, it's really hard to get ska in my area. Shops pretty much only have Reel Big Fish and Less Than Jake, sometimes I can find Catch 22 and Mustard Plug. If I want anything else I have to order it online, and I don't really like doing that. Even then ska can be hard to find. I ordered a CD online probably two months ago now and it still hasn't come due to an internet breakdown (anyone heard of The Sound of Animals Fighting? Not horn music, but really interesting stuff). Okay, back to the topic of this thread. What's that other album like? I think it's called umm...Jacknife to a Swan or something. Is that good? Because I think I've seen that one around. |

Yeah ive got all their albums from Questions The Answers onwards, so I havent heard too much of their older stuff. A Jacknife to a Swan is...well i wouldnt describe it as Ska-core entirely, since some of their songs are upbeat, but the ere are a couple of songs that touch on ska-core. But basically i think its cos Dicky barrett has pretty rough edged vocals and their metal influences give them a more hardcore sound. Who cares what they are, its fuckin awesome music and they are probably one of my favourite bands of all time.
