Almost two years ago I bought a Yamaha Bobby Shew, raw brass. It looked pretty sharp then, but now it's oxidizing pretty badly. My hands turn green when I play it and it's quite splotchy. I'm getting it plated, but since that process takes so long, I have to wait until after the marching band season.
Any advice on cleaning it up in the mean time?
