| On your Everything went numb tab for Alto Sax what does the "=" signs mean? and are the "-" for flat or are they just separating Notes? | ||

| Hey sorry, I thought I explained it in the tab, but I guess it was just in the trumpt one. Since this is such a complicated song, and that each instrument has some parts people may not hear, I tried to give this tab some rhythm, so yes, both - and = are just separating notes (I'm actually kind of against using + and - when # and b are right the on your keyboard), so ignore them if you'd rather. They do serve their own purpose though. The way I set it up, I had "-" representing an eigth note, and "=" representing a 16th, so A=B=A=B would mean 4 16th notes, A then B, then A, then B, and A----B--C--- would be half note A, quarter note B, dotted quarter C. I came upon some notes that were dotted eighths, and decided to just put "-=", so at the very beginning of the tab, it goes, dotted 8th A, dotted 8th A, 8th A, 8th F, 8th G, quarter E. I really didn't know how else to show rhythm, and I didn't want to confuse people be tabbing something they weren't expecting (e.g. after the first verse, about 30 seconds into the song, the horn have a nice melody part, but the bari has quarter notes under it, I didn't want to tab the quarter notes, and have someone try to play the melody with my tabbed notes, so I tried to add some rhythm). Sorry if it just confuses you, but I figured if people didn't like it, they could always just enjoy the nice spacing between the notes and ignore what the "-" and "=" meant altogether. I think it makes sense, but I may just be crazy. | ||

| No problem, I'm glad my rhythm isn't a total dud, that's the one thing stabs don't have. | ||
