When recording horns in a studio, is it better to record each horn playing solo or to have all of them play as a whole? Just wondering, thanks

solo.....that way you can control the volume and even it out at the end....it takes more work but at the end its worth it.....and it sound really clean...as far as my experience ...............cheers!!!!!!!!!!! -trumpetgeek69
