So you get an iTunes gift card, but what to get with it? So far on iTunes I've bought Unstoppable (Planet Smashers) and Vs. the Floating Eye of Death (The Aquabats) simply because I can't get them here. But two albums that I'd expect to be reasonably rare that I've bought on iTunes and would highly recommend are: i) Fine Print at the Bottom by Spitvalves I'm sure that at least one person must have heard of these guys. Underground ska punk band from...Florida? Somewhere in America anyway. Excellent album, unique sound and one of my favourite horn sections, the Spitvalves could almost be classed as skacore. ii) Foua by Municipale Balcanica The first album to appease my Balkan fetish, they're from Italy and have a lot of instruments, including strings and accordians. They do Hava Nagila and Odessa Bulgarish among several other really great songs. I don't think you have to like Balkan to like this album, you just have to like horns. What other gems are in the iTunes library? Oh but on a side note, I absolutely hate iTunes, it's a shit program and Apple have put way too strict protection on iTunes files, it's hard to do anything with them except have them on your computer or iPod. I'd much prefer to use Winamp, but unfortunately it doesn't recognise my iPod anymore. -Faulk
