Daddy said he'll buy me a new mouthpiece.

Now, I'm under the impression that you can get mouthpieces that boost your range, what other things can they improve? Can you get mouthpieces which improve endurance? I really don't know anything about mouthpiece models, I can't even say which mouthpiece I play on from memory.

So what should I look for? Obviously I would try some out, but what are some good models to try? Right now I'm using a (hang on...) Yamaha 11B4 if that changes anything. And I could use some extra range...

So yeah, whatchouse reckon? Oh and what's the deal with those glass mouthpieces? Any good?

Cheers,

I think your talking about the clear plastic mouthpieces.... They are not glass..... And what I heard about them is that they are good for the cold weather because the stay warm and that way they don't freeze the shit out of your lips... I think.... But then again I'm not so sure.... Haha.... For high notes I hear that the schilke 10A4A is really good.... But your tone quality gets a little messed up.... Thats all I know..... Hope it helps!! Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
