Hey are their any good sax sites that have maybe more music for the sax more specific the bari. Id like to expand on the music i play but i cant find anything ive been playing bari for 5 years now and ive only played jazz and classicl and ska id like to try more.

I also played bari for about 5 years, sadly i swicthed to tenor for a ska band. As for musi, i find your best bet is to pick up alto shit, hard to get alot of barry solos and such. One of the other posts cover proffesional sax players, they got a few baris there.. And a few good ska songs wiht a nice bari solo include; Carlita by Goldfinger and Redlight by The Slackers |

you can try fan websites, i know there's one out there, sadly i didn't write it down. it was years ago. and there's a punk website which has some, not all. all i can say is google, or transpose some of the trumpet stuff, as i'm guessing that trumpet players will have simply tabbed some ltj alto+tenor+bari parts on their trumpets so you can transpose. i'll be honest,there isnt much out there, unless you delve into the realms of obscurity,,, or you email the band directly and see if they'll tell you. it works sometimes.. |

well........to texasaggie411..........to start a band one must CREATE music.......lol to bari frackin sax just get some alto sax stuff and just play an octave lower or same octave of it you'll be suprised you could try these websites but you have to down load software but it's realy small
