It seems that the board does not allow more than 50 posts on a thread, so this is simply a continuation of the thread "Marching Band".

This is what I wanted to post:

To nomes:

After actually reading this thread, I was surprised (well, I guess not really...) to hear that your field show is The Incredibles -- that's what we're doing. I'm not sure if it's the same arrangement, but I actually love it. The really fast marching is cool, but gets tiresome at times though. And if I read correctly, you're doing Catch Me if You Can too? Is that like 2 different shows in one or something? If so, geez, how long is it?

I also read that you're in Orange County. Are you going to Hart? (See the previous few posts.)

We're going to have a competition this Saturday at Loara High School.
Any other So Cal-ers going to compete at this competition?

My kids are actually going to the Wilson show. We tried to get into Loara, but we didnt make deadline i guess. Loara should be a cool show though.

Oh, ok, it would've been cool to meet at a competition though! Ah well.

Edit to my post on the previous Marching Band thread: Our Hart High School competition is being held at College of the Canyons, not Hart High. Hart's stadium is supposedly really small. Forgot about that. Lookin' forward to it.

I'd just like to pat myself on the back here and say congrats for creating a thread the exceeds the post limit. Also the Untouchables I thought was some pretty rad music. Maybe not fit for a marching band but last year my concert band did a pretty decent job of some arrangement of it.
