OMG! That was the greatest show i've ever seen, and quite possibly ever will see... Streetlight was soooooo good! The Tossers suck, like a wannabe flogging molly, and they took too long to play, so i could only stay for like 3/4ths of streetlight's set...but wat i saw was so fuaking good...i mean...wow... i believe the most amazing part was the last song(s) i heard... they played point/counterpoint, then after the breakdown on the part where its just guitar and vocals (waiting by the phone but the phone never rang) before hte vocals came in, they stopped adn broke into Keasbey Nights (catch 22) and it was amazing... after keasbey nights was finished they broke back into point/counterpoint at the vocals there...it was soooo incredibly good...that was my last song, but i saw most of theyre good stuff (we are the few, ponitcounterpoint, better place, a better time, the saddest song, everything went numb, if and when we rise again, point/counterpoint/keasbey nights) it was amazing... if anyone from atlanta didnt go...im sorry

Dang, that's awexome. I also really want to go to Streetlight concert. I guess it'll be a while before they're back in southern California again, since they kind of just were a couple months ago.. Didn't have a chance to see them. One day I will though, definitely.

Our best trumpeter at school and his ska band went to see them about a year ago I think, and he actually got to talk with them, and gave them shirts of his band. But man, I really gotta/want to go. And soon.

That's amazingly cool how they spliced Keasbey Nights into Point/Counterpoint.. P/C is like a sequel/spinoff to KN. Did they play any new songs? I've been reading (and listening) they've been giving little teases of some new stuff, which I like a lot from what I've heard. (It's here if you want to listen: http://smf.po.gs/mambo/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=14&Itemid=28 )

Too bad you couldn't stay the whole time. I think they usually play The Big Sleep as their last song, and that's actually one of my favorite ones on the album (well, they're all my favorite, but I like this one a lot).

Anyways, glad to hear that they're still rockin'! (err.. skankin')

(Sorry, that link to their new songs doesn't work well. If you go to this site: http://smf.po.gs/mambo/ and click on "Media" at the top you can hear them)

Hey, I was there too, AWESOME show! It was just amazing! I was so glad that they came back too, after the last show here was canceled because they got robbed (sucks). I dunno, I kinda liked the Tossers, but you're right, they went on for far too long. As for streetlight, I loved the Keasby Nights part, it was done 1000x better than Catch 22 has done it in the past couple years. I wish it was a surprise for me, but I saw a video of them doing it at an earlier show, but it was great both ways. Dunno if you were near me, but give me an IM (if you have AIM), we'll talk. Always good to find another ska fan in atlanta!
PS: Tell me, what did you think of the opening band(The Dog's Bollocks).?

ya, i was so bummed when i found out they got robbed... but it was an awesome show...i was on the left/center part of the floor facing the stage, like 2nd or 3rd row from stage...next to the fat red headed kid (my friend cal), also, my friend Paul, Matt, Bradey, Bones and them were all like 1st row, left/center... dunno if i saw u or not... i have pretty long brown hair, wearing a the streetlight shirt with tour dates on back, girl on front (black), dunno if u saw me or not, prolly did some time during the night, i mean there werent that many ppl there... and dogs bollock were pretty good, i dunno... theyre a new band, and they were pretty good considering that. the waltz thing was pretty cool =).. i have aim, but my popup blocker blocks the buddy list, ill try to get it to work again tho... ill have to get my pass again tho... my name was like lunchroomanifesto or something...dunno...i think that was it, ill try, and post back

Ah. Cool. I was over on the right side of the stage (when facing the stage), a bit back with my girlfriend (dancing, not just standing!), occasionally (alot)going into the big circle skank in the middle.

Cool for the stuff about the Dog's Bollocks, I'm the guitarist, the one in the toasters shirt, right side of the stage when facing the crowd. Glad you enjoyed it! We've been around for about... 4-5 months now, trying to do our best.

ah, nice, i saw u then... you guys have something going, just keep it up... very traditional, yet not...dunno, its good... i was the little skinny guy who started a couple of the moshes in the center...(well, close center, 3rd rowish)... so ya, keep it up with the Dog's Bollock. the first song you guys played wasnt all the gr8(mainly cause ur frontman was being kinda boring then), but you guys got good after that... so ya...

Lonka and the Jedi Knights (myspace.com/mrplonka) their recordings suck balls, but theyre good, and im starting a local, we should be playing fairly soon... so ya, where u guys from?

Lonka, and maybe like 50/50 Shot like the end of the december or mid january for our first show, give me ur contact info and I'll see if u guys can play too... it'll prolly be way down in grantville...they have a train depot down there thats good to play at... if its not there, then it'll be in Peachtree City at Crosspoint Church, they have a little youth room thing where people play (you dont have to be christian, u can cuss all u want, mosh everything, they dont care) so ya, i'll see...
