c major is easy, all the whole notes basically. good song, buy a book with sheetmusic. they help loads with rhythm |

Can't go wrong with the chromatic scale. As for music, get a fake book. They usually have an enormous amount of music in them and are really great things to have. |

Id go down to your local music store and ask what they have for beginner sax players. they should hook yo uup pretty good. There are tons of great saxaphonists out there so lots to choose from! |

| You should definately find some good saxophone players that you like and listen to them to get an idea of what kind of sound you're trying to develop. And, get a tuner and play into that. To get the right note, you lip the reed up and down. Practice without it at first and concentrate on getting the sound out and strong and then use the tuner. No one likes an out of tune sax so that'll solve the problem. | ||

Just any type of tuner lol I have a guitar tuner But I know thats not the same right? lol thank you for the feeed back! what are some good sax players?

| There's a post on non-ska sax players so that would be a good place to find a couple. Get a tuner that does horns. Not overly expemsive and when used properly, it is worth the money, | ||
