A "good" trumpet is based primarily on opinion -- everybody has a different taste of what they think is a top-notch trumpet. I've actually never heard of that brand -- but for 81 bucks, you can't go wrong. I don't know where you found this trumpet, but I'd look at all the information/specs available and even user opinions if the site (or wherever you found it) has them. The red color might give others the impression that you're pretty experienced, at least where I'm from -- the trend seems to be that beginner to intermediate players have gold-plated, experienced players have silver-plated, and the "pros" have black nickel or some other awesome color. But it doesn't really matter. And again, you can't really go wrong for $81. |

In the trumpet world, you really get what you pay for. And 81 dollars doesn't buy much in terms of a horn. |

| That's still nothing. A good horn will cost you about $500 USD. You can get a used horn cheaper though, and it will still be very good. | ||

Gotta agree with Marty on this one. There are many horns that are being made in India and China that absolute junk that are being sold very cheap (like this one). I'm not saying this is one of them, but it very well could be. Try looking at beginner horns from yamaha or another well known brand. Might cost $500 but atleast you know it won't fall apart within a few months of buying it. Remember, it is much easier to build a good looking horn than a good sounding horn. |

| never heard of the brand. probably crap but go to a music shop with used trumpets. a used "Olds", "Bundy", "Bach", "Yamaha", or "Getzen" could run you around $150 or $300. Those horns are probably 100X better than that unknown horn and will last you a life time unlike that horn will. | ||

It's always cool to have a colored horn, but an 81 dollar price doesn't say much for its quality. Consider a more expensive trumpet if you are serious. Then again, my horn was a cool $1300, and I love it to death, so I might be a bit spoiled on the quality end. |
