ok. im pretty new to reading tabs(just found this site the other day)so if anyone could kindly point me in the right direction to find a program that i could put the notes into for some of these tabs, i would be very greatful. also i play trombone so in some of the tabs it has like-E1 for example would that be on the staff? so -E2 would be the E that is 3 ledger lines up?

if anyone could help me you would be greatly appreciated

Listen to the song, match the octaves. It's not very difficult. Whenever I write out tabs, I prefer to not number them because there is a lot of confusion on what the numbers are. Use your ears.

See here for an explanation on reading tabs: http://horntabs.net/viewarticle.cgi?id=2

Also, if you're still wondering, there are 2 main programs for composing music: Sibelius and Finale. I use Sibelius on occasion and it's great and easy to learn. However, both programs are pretty expensive -- but Finale also makes a free program called Finale Notepad. Search for it on versiontracker.com -- it's also easy to use, and is great if you want to type out or compose some less-complex music.
