What's the difference between Ska and Reggae?

I find that Wikipedia is pretty useful for stuff like this.

Ska (the early first-wave stuff) was supposedly a forerunner to reggae. Reggae is generally a lot slower than ska -- especially compared to the common ska of today (3rd-wave, "punk-ska").
