He wanted to go to college, and he was tired of touring is what I heard. I know after Catch 22 he went to some art and graphics college.

Yep, Tomas went to Savannah College of Art and Design after Catch 22. I dont think he had any problems with Catch 22, he just wanted to go to school.
Anyway, catch 22 was good up until dinosaur sounds, and there live shows are amazing now that they're playing the songs slower. Plus Streetlight is amazing. im so pumped for keasbey nights 2. streetlight's sound mixed with tomas' original catch 22 songs is gonna make a great combination.

Keasbey Nights (not Keasby Knights 2 -- I'm not trying to be snobby, just informative ) should be out on March 7th. See here: http://horntabs.net/thread.cgi?thread=527

I'm really looking forward to it. Also, I recently discovered some pretty interesting stuff -- this album is supposedly the second (out of three) chapter of "The Keasbey Diaries." I read this from the BOTAR booklet found here: http://mysite.freeserve.com/pennylock/A_Call_to_Arms_booklet.zip

Can't wait!

Are you sure it doesn't mean the origional keasbey nights was the first and everything went numb was the second in the keasbey diaries? Or is that just me being silly

You could be right, but I got the impression that Streetlight is going to come out with an entirely new album (the third and final one of the trilogy) soon after the upcoming Keasbey Nights.

This is what the exerpt says from the BOTAR booklet:
On The Horizon Streetlight Manifesto - The ------- Diaries

The second of three K. Nights chapters. It's been a while, but it's finally underway. In this episode, we see a little bit of the old, a little bit of the new.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I guess we'll see.

Don't forget the "A call to arms" came out before Streetlight even started. So I presumed The ------ Diaries, was the origional name for Everything Goes Numb. However I have been known to be wrong. As you said, whats important is that whatever album they bring out is going to be incredible

True, but I think the whole "Keasbey Diaries" refers to the trilogy/collection, not the name of an individual album. I could be wrong too though. And that information was printed a long time ago, so everything could have changed.

Also, BOTAR had their own little "On The Horizon" section on the same page of the booklet that talked about an untitled full-length album as well as a collection called "99 Songs of Revolution."

But yep, regardless what Tomas brings us, it's definitely not going to be bad.

ok here it is it is all one big file so you need a file compressor dowload (winace.com)

and remember, buy the album when it comes out and help streetlight out.

Awexome; i just found a site that has each of those same songs hosted individually for download instead of one big compressed file. I'd post the link, but forum rules say no linking to illegal music downloads... and seeing as this album isn't even out yet, I'll have to get Sander's OK. But it's the same exact stuff that's in the compressed file posted above.

Anyways, now for my opinion of what I've heard so far (if the songs are even real) : I have to say I'm not as impressed as I was expecting to be. Granted, the files aren't the best quality, but I don't know... the intruments (particularly the trumpet) just sound a little weaker than the Catch 22 versions. I've only listened to bits and pieces, and I'm sure it'll grow on me the the more I listen. The saxophones are definitely a welcome addition though. Regardless, it's still some of the best music I've heard.

By the way, there's no new songs on this album in case anybody was wondering... Ah well. And I'll also be buying the album to support them.

Willk14 im sry to do this on a forum board but my e-mail is dumb so is there any chance you can finish tabbing out teh bari part for everything went numb. I am sure i could figure it out if need be but the intro was very good and i want to present in the best way possible so people who haven't heard it before will like it and hopefully check out more of it. If you can awesome if not no worries.
