My friend is going to learn trombone but unfortunately I don't have a clue about a book that teaches the basics, or anything about embouchure and stuff that he'd need to know to play good.

Someone help?

if you havnt played trombone before, and you have no clue what you are doing, a good set of books are the standard of excellence series, i beleive there are 3 in the series, i started out on the first one when i started to play, its quite useful. then once you start to get better, a good book is essential elements the jazz book, i am using that, its basic, but very imformative.
then there are so many method books out there once you start getting better.

hope that helps,
