Man the best slide grease ever is "BLUE JUICE"
it works so well. One drop of it on each should last
like maybe 3-4 weeks with-out sticking. You guys may
not be able to buy it but ask your local music shop
or band teacher or what ever to get or order some. I
think it cost like around 15.99

Blue Juice is brilliant - every brass player in my band has a bottle! And it looks so cool, too! I sometimes wish it was drinkable

I used Al Cass fast oil. it's not bad stuff and it's really cheap. Really common too you can get it anywhere. Gets the job done for me. In my experience oil is pretty much just a personal preference. There isn't a significant difference between types, you just use whatever you have or like.

Al Cass doesn't work for me... My valves stick like crazy cause my instrument is so ghetto.

Blue Juice works really well in that it makes your valves super fast....But, it dries out quickly. You might have to oil everyday or every other day. With me, i started seeing this after about a year of using it.

I'm very sorry. I actually use trombone slide oil now. I think the slightly thicker consistency holds better on my valves. At least in my imagination. Whatever works, works.
