Has anyone here used one of those cool little Pocket Cornets?

They come in a range of prices, be careful of the really cheap ones though because they make their money by setting it at like $100+ Postage/handling!

Anyway, I thought it'd be cool coz I could just throw it in my bag and rip it out whenever I'm bored or if people are having a bit of a jam. (not a fan of leaving my proper full size trumpet in me car) I guess it'd have less volume, but I wouldn't mind. It'd also be a lot of fun as a novelty to play at a gig... (for those in bands)

However, some of them appear to have fixed mouth pieces, so I was wondering if that poses a problem... and whats the sound etc like on them!

Anyone used one or seen one up close?

Yeah I've seen them on Ebay too and I'm also wondering those things. I agree that it would be handy because it's more portable and would be good for scaring people at bus stops or whatever...

Fun to mess around with for a few weeks.......until you get tired of how terrible it sounds, and how it's next to impossible to get into tune.
