The bass trombone player in my Jazz band can hit a double pedal b and bflat. He normally plays notes lower then a piano can go. My highest point is an octive below the top note of a piano. The top note of our piano is 14 lines above bass clef staff.

i can play pedal Gb, almost pedal F, i play on a tenor with an F attachment, i can somtimes hit pedal F if im warmed up enough, but it takes so much air, and im just little.

attachment... wouldn't that be a trigger?
but one thing that confuses me... our bass bonist can play the highest note outta everyone in low brass on the bass, yet wouldn't it be more logical that it would be a tenor?

in english it is called "pedal D" I think. I now my lowest note as "contra D". My teacher could go lower, maybe I could do it, too, if I practise a bit more.

I'll have to correct myself. It's not "pedal/contra D", it's "pedal/contra G".
