I just ordered the H.L. Clarke Technical Studies for Trumpet off the internet. I havent got it yet but i was just wondering if i spent my money well, or if its just a waste of time.

That's one of the wisest decisions you can make if you want to pursue trumpet playing. It'll take you years to get everything at speed in that book. She's a monster.

I'm not sure if they're related, but I practice Clarke Exercises everytime I practice, and I think they've helped a lot, especially if you do them using different tonguing patterns.

I also practice a lot out of Rubank's Advanced Method Vol I. There's tons of great articulation exercises that I've been practicing for years, mostly as a warm up nowadays.
