I just ordered the H.L. Clarke Technical Studies for Trumpet off the internet. I havent got it yet but i was just wondering if i spent my money well, or if its just a waste of time.

| That's one of the wisest decisions you can make if you want to pursue trumpet playing. It'll take you years to get everything at speed in that book. She's a monster. | ||

I'm not sure if they're related, but I practice Clarke Exercises everytime I practice, and I think they've helped a lot, especially if you do them using different tonguing patterns. I also practice a lot out of Rubank's Advanced Method Vol I. There's tons of great articulation exercises that I've been practicing for years, mostly as a warm up nowadays. |
