Hey, I just bought my first trombone. I'm having so much fun playing it. It's an Andre Bartot, don't know if this is a quality instrument, It was 250$ CDN on sale from 400$ so I think i got a good deal. Right now I'm using the Essential Elements 2000 book to get started, is this a good book? If any of you have any pointers for starting out I'd love to hear them!

In my school when we all got our first instruments and what not, everybody's instrument came with the Essential Elements 2000 book. I think it's pretty good. I learned trumpet and trombone with it.
