Ive heard some of their stuff and its not bad. Apparently they are a christian rock band according to a friend of mine. Is this true?

| Yes, this is true and they are one of my favourite bands. Unfortunately, they broke up...around 2001 I think, so their music is kinda hard to find but it's really good. I think there's a thread in this part of the forums about favourite Fif songs if you're interested. But I wouldn't say rock, they are distinctly ska. | ||

| You can find them fairly easily, just not at normal major chain stores... For example you can use Amazon.com or specialty stores such as the coffee shop/book/music stores. When I look the usually seem to have fif and other more unique bands. And...I happen to adore five iron. | ||

| FIF is badass. Normally I don't like any of that christian stuff but these guys are pretty good. I'm really sad they broke up but they still kick. | ||

| FIF are freakin amazing. Still my favorite band today. I went and saw them on their farewell tour in Ohio, a 5 hour drive for me, and it was completely worth it. They were incredible live. And if I recall correctly, they broke up in.....2003? yeah, November of 2003 was their last show ever. | ||

| yeah, i've been after some w's cd's for ages. 'frank' was one of those songs which got me playing sax, great song. for FIF albums, it's worth trying ebay. that's where i get all my cd's from now. | ||

I know I've already posted in this thread...but yeah, FIF are amazing. I think I would have to say that they are my favourite band (don't worry man, Where's Gary's Duvet? is my second favourite ). I'm a Christian so I guess they earn extra points with me anyway, but their music is just so good. I completed my collection a few weeks ago at Easter, all eight albums plus one EP. It is definitely worth it. Kinda cool because sometimes they make references to other songs and then when you hear that song it makes sense.Heh, yeah I've seen that shirt before. Good job! I might get me Five Iron shirt sometime too... -Faulk

| Are these guys any good? Last March I saw about 5 different cds by them at best buy. I read about them, but I was more inclined to buy a new copy of Losing Streak. I need a new Pez and Losers, Kings, Things too, but yeah. I think I'll hit these guys up next time I'm out there though. | ||

Uhh, I'm guessing you mean which album. Well if I were you I'd do it chronologically. But the first album that I heard of theirs was All the Hype that Money can Buy which was their 5th record and that's still my favourite FIF album today. Here's the chronological order: Upbeats and Beatdowns Our Newest Album Ever Quantity is Job 1 (EP) Proof that the Youth are Revolting (live) All the Hype that Money can Buy Electric Boogaloo Cheeses... The End is Near The End is Here (live) I suggest that you don't start off with Cheeses because that's kinda like a B-sides album but yeah, I'd start with Upbeats and Beatdowns if I were you. -Faulk
