day 3= sunny. day 4= sunny. day 5= sunny. day 6= loadsa fuckin rain. day 7= sunny.

pretty annoying if you decide to go out on the basis that it hasnt rained all week and then it pisses down.

hehehe...

Here in Australia we got no cool gigs like RBF or SM and on the very rare occasion that we do, I find out about it the day after. And whoever tells me about it is sayin how damn awesome it was and I wanna break their face for rubbing it in and then break my own face for not going.

Yeah the weather here is nice, bloody freezing in the morning and then 25 celsius in the PM which feels about 40 because you're wearing a coat that saved you from freezing to death a few hours ago.

Well, that's my whinge taken care of. I feel better now

I might try to make the show in Anaheim on the 28th or 31st if we can find a ride. If we can go, it will be so awesome... I love RBF and of course Streetlight, and MxPx seem pretty sweet too from the little I've heard of their stuff.

25C = 77F C'mon, just passed Chem and you can't remember the good ol' (9/5)x+32?

Anyways, yeah, I'm going to two of the shows. One in Buffalo, NY August 12th, and then one in Boston, MA July 11. I Can't freakin' wait. And for all of you guys who don't live in the US, I'll see what I can do about getting pics for you all. You guys deserve to see these guys just as much as we do.

Cheers!

OMG we did that too! That was a pretty fun lab. Funny though, we go from Streetlight and RBF to Chemistry.

Back on topic. I might even bring along my video camera to get some footage of them playing. So if you guys want to check my MySpace after the shows, I might have some of it up.

Haha, I've never seen 'Streetlight Manifesto' abbreviated like that before. Anyways, I've got pictures! The best way to view them is to go to my MySpace blog I made - it has the best pics I had (with a crappy 2.0MP digital camera). Here's the link:

http://blog.myspace.com/skaman31689

The show was pretty good all-around. Streetlight, unfortunately, is just an opening band so they didn't play much. However, they played two new songs that sounded nothing less than "fucking awesome." I wrote more about the show in the blog. So just go read that.

Yeah, their new songs are INCREDIBLE. I love them already, and that's just from the crappy quality of YouTube videos.

There's been a bunch of live Streetlight videos uploaded lately to YouTube, so go there and search for them if you want -- there's 4 new songs total that they've played. I can post links if you can't find them all.

OMG that happened so much to me at the show I caught. It was ridiculous. A couple of us went off to a new area and made our own circle purely devoted to skanking. It was much more fun that way.

So, how was /your/ show?

it was skawesome!
we show up after we accidentally missed whole wheat bread... saw transition... they're funny, juggalo wannabes at the wrong show, with t-shirts and bumper stickers that say 'i love black people', then streetlight! the problem with that was that the skank pit was so tight that when 1 or 2 moshers jumped into it, it turned into a mosh pit... but yeah
reel big fish was by far the best live show i've ever seen... they made so many jokes, i was laughin almost the entire show... my friends and i made like a 5 person skank circle... and dureing 1 song, we hadda skank line... too bad sum1 puked like right there for no apparent reason... kept walkin too... bastard... it just surprised me how much songs they played from turn the radio off... oh yeah, and 1/2 the place left for mxpx... we saw like 4-5 songs and left... only to find out that our car was fucked... ashhole stole it, used it for god knows what, drained the battery... luckily they didn't steal anything... just weird since there was no signs of forced entry or hotwiring... only a few random driving adjustments, dead battery, 1/8 tank lower than when we parked, and a really warm engine...

yeah, no matter how good the show was, never say "skawesome" again. In fact, use absolutely no puns with the word "ska" in it, ever. I went to Streetlight/RBF, and it was fantastic, but if you say that again, I swear on my mother's grave, I will pluck your eyes out and kill your whole family.

I mean it I will. I hate puns with ska in it.
