its at the showcase theatre...starts at 7 ....headlining, b Sharps...The un-fun slide, chase long beach, Instafu, the smurfitz. its gonna be a great night!

DUDE that's crazy, I didn't know there were any other southern Californians on this board. I'm in the Lancaster area, and have heard the Un-Fun Slide and Chase Long Beach (not live yet, just their music). They're good. I think our band The Black Market Stiffs is going to be playing with the Un-Fun Slide, The Great Tortilla Heist (have you heard of them?), and others at an upcoming local ska show, not sure when.

in mid may unfun slide talked about being out in lancaster. thats cool that you're playin with them. they rock....are you playing with them for their mini tour thing going on? thats cool. nope, sorry but i never heard of the GTH. too bad ya cant go...i went out to lancaster once. with marching band. some...antelope valley competition....its like...way far out there....so, we're the only two from south CA? ...maybe ther are more

Yeah, Lancaster is in the Antelope Valley, and our last two marching band competitions are always in the AV, so the bus ride is only like 10 or 15 minutes for us, lol. So we've probably been to a lot of the same competitions. The most significant one we go to is probably Hart Rampage at College of the Canyons. Does your school go there?

no, sorry never heard of that...we normally stay close to home. we were supposed to go there again last year (antelope valley) but the bus never showed up. some people were pretty upset. i think we might try to go this year. i dunno.

Chase Long Beach and the Un-Fun Slide played here in Lancaster on the 25th at a Ska Vs. Punk show. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it. One of the ska bands, Matamoska, dropped out, so the Great Tortilla Heist filled in.

Also, you've probably heard of Suburban Safari? They broke up this past summer, but they are/were pretty tight with the Un-Fun Slide. The trumpet player for SS is the same one in the GTH, and is also the vocalist.
