these stupid people down the street came over, somehow layed my trumpet on the floor, stepped on it and bent the horn ! none of them will confess so i guess i have to pay for it myself. does anyone know hoe much it is gonna cost to fix it?

It depends... I would say between 100-300 bucks. At least yours didn't get run over by your friend being a dick...

wrong. just go to your local music store, they'll have to send it away and you won't get it back for atleast a week but my horn was bent atleast 45 degrees upward and crumple etc. and it cost me 40 bucks to fix it

wtll the price will vary. It could be as cheap as Ivan said, but music repair shops are all different. Also his trumpet could even be worse than Ivan's because the valves/slides could be messed up too.

valves and slides I didn't take into consideration. I have no clue how much that could change the price but for a good dent on your leap pipe or bell, you shouldn't pay over 50 dollars to repair.

Theres nuthin wrong with the slides or valves, its just the bell. So it should be about 50$?

the offical story that dizzy used was that he laid it down on a chair one time and someone sat on it and it's been like that ever since. now some horns are manufactured like that, but it's just not as cool to say you bought it that way.

haha, ya once i got a hole in my trumpet..i had to put tape on it until i rented a new one (thank god it was a rental!!)

i heard that in a concert he left his trumpet on a stand and some other instrument fell on it, i think the bass, and bent it like that and then he tried to played and he liked it more

dunno, theres many stories ..
