One time, a senior swung wacked my tbone bell with a drum stick "unintentionally" putting a huge dent in the side..among many other dents...i did drop my tbone before a parade and slightly dented the slide...um....after washing my tbone...my lock somehow stopped working...its stuck open...nothing really bad overall tho

I had my trombone "resting" on a pole, when I hit it and it fell of. A little bend in the bell and the slide was a little bit out of shape. After fixing the slide, it was playable again.

It was my backup instrument, it was kind of old. I use another one now.

The same trombone half a year later. We were standing around before a parade, I had my trombone in my hand, but it was standing on the ground. Another guy (a trumpet player) walked one step backwards and "ripped" the drainage tab of. So I had to fix it instantly with a handkerchief and a rubber band

not mine, but the other guy that plays baritone with me in my skool's wind ensemble 'accidentaly' trips and sticks a knee into our skool's brand new (last year) double trigger bass trombone, denting the bell to unplayable... but 2 seconds later after some re-bending with part of a desk and some hands, w/o the director knowing, it looked fine until u get up close...
my bone sat in an attic for many years before i came into possesion of it... in that time, or before, there was a tiny dent in the bell... at my band's practice the other month ago, apparently that dent got more noticable... so with part of a railing and the flat end of a ball peen hammer, i got it back to semi-normal

back when i played a valve trombone (going from euphonium to trombone is alot more easier than people think) i was in the school orchestra

this was the head of music's personal trombone so i had to be pretty careful with it. one time during rehearsal i didnt put the bell in the right position, so i spent half the time trying to rearrange it until i finally decided to take the bell out fully instead of just twisting it. i tried to do it as subtle as possible so the conductor would be disrupted, but as i was doing it the bell lept out of my hands and hit the floor... left a pretty bad dent in the bell...

after that rehearsal it was decided than i would move onto a slide trombone
